new district, who’s this?

That’s what Sean Patrick Maloney will probably say when he’s asked why he’s bailing on NY-18 again.

For the second time this year, Maloney is abandoning his district to score cheap political points and grab a few headlines at the expense of his constituents.

You may recall a similar stunt back in May when Maloney pandered to his liberal base by attending a partisan political rally in Congressman John Faso’s district.

Maybe it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Maloney is so desperate to deflect from his actual record – especially after he voted to protect VA employees who should be fired for negligence or misconduct. I wonder what the 36,000 veterans in his district think of that…
