In case you missed it, Democrats are stepping up their efforts to import liberal New York City values to the 19th district by pushing vacationers to change their registration addresses.

When it came to buying a home, Tony Lance found haven in quaint Livingston Manor in the Catskills.
A two-hour drive from his main base in Manhattan, the hamlet with a population of about 1,200 is a place to connect with nature. It also comes with a bonus: A chance to vote outside New York City.
Lance, a Democrat, is one of a number of vacationers and weekenders in the Hudson Valley and Catskills who have registered to vote in the 19th Congressional District, where Republican and Democratic enrollment is virtually split, with unaffiliated voters making up another large chunk of the population.
But that’s not even the worst part. In 2016, none of the four Democrat candidates leading in fundraising even voted in NY-19:
- Brian Flynn was living in New York City
- Antonio Delgado was living in Montclair, New Jersey
- Patrick Ryan was living in New York City
- Gareth Rhodes was living in Cambridge, Massachusetts
