New York meets Dubuque
New York and Washington DC have spoken. Democrat leader Joe Crowley just announced he will be fundraising for Abby Finkenauer.
Crowley is the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus and 4th in line to Nancy Pelosi.
Politico Playbook: “Crowley has made a commitment to ask his personal supporters to give to these Democrats in their primaries and general elections.”
“He’s helping build loyalty with up-and-coming Democrats who, if they get to Washington, will remember the pile of cash Crowley steered in their direction. WE’RE NOT PREDICTING when Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and Jim Clyburn will leave Congress — but they will at some point. They are 77 and 78 years old. Crowley is the fourth-ranking House Democrat.”
This solidifies Abby’s status as the DC hand-picked candidate, and she will never break free from that. Surely, the dollars coming from New York via Crowley & Pelosi are bound to convince Iowans that far-left liberal Abby Finkenauer is the best candidate to represent them.
Now that Abby is officially on Pelosi’s power team – does that mean she agrees that $1,000 bonuses for hardworking middle-class Iowans are crumbs?
