According to the Free Beacon, Josh Gottheimer received more bad news today as a government watchdog group filed an ethics complaint against his office:

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) asked the Office of Congressional Ethics to open an investigation of Gottheimer on Thursday, citing an email sent earlier this week by his communications director Abhi Rahman. The email was sent from an official “mail.house.gov” address and linked to the “Josh Gottheimer for Congress” filing to the Federal Election Committee, a blatant violation of rules prohibiting the use of official resources for political activities.

We knew Gottheimer was feeling desperate, but did he really expect to get away with this?
