National Democrats are now so freaked out about huge primary fields in California, they are talking openly about spending money against progressive challengers in the primary.

Case in point: the DCCC’s Executive Director just told the New York Times: “Right now we are preserving the right to invoke military options and spend money as we see fit.”

How will the progressive grassroots react to DC party bosses telling them who their candidate will be by spending millions to torpedo their preferred candidates?
