Today’s the day—Tax Day 2018.

Why is this Tax Day more significant than any other in recent history?

Because today marks the last time Americans will be forced to file taxes under an archaic, oppressive tax code that has crippled our nation’s citizens and economy for decades.

Americans will no longer be punished for earning an honest living, and the American dream feels within reach.

In case you missed it, tax reform hasn’t just put more money in Americans’ pockets. It’s also launched our country into The Great American Comeback. This new prosperous era is marked by the creation of more than 616,000 new jobs, raises and bonuses for millions of Americans (and counting), and the lowest number of jobless claims in more than 45 years.

As House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers notes, “we’re just getting started.”

One year from now, Tax Day will be dreaded no more.
