DCCC vs. grassroots
NRCC | April 18, 2018

Grab your popcorn – the Washington establishment is going to war with the grassroots in yet another divisive Democratic primary.

In the left corner: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee recruited and just endorsed failed mayoral candidate Juanita Perez Williams. This is their latest attempt at meddling in a primary after the effort completely backfired down in Texas.

In the other left corner: Indivisible and all four local Democrat county parties in the district have endorsed Visiting Professor Dana Balter. They released a joint statement reiterating that they “stand united against the D.C. meddling that has hampered far too many races thus far”

“Visiting Professor Dana Balter may be an extreme liberal who can’t seem to cobble together a campaign – but local Democrats don’t want Washington handpicking another proven loser.” – NRCC Spokesman Chris Martin
