Greedy Chrissy strikes again

May 4, 2018

The negative headlines continue to pile up for Chrissy Houlahan.

Just a few months after she was exposed for exploiting Chinese laborers as COO of AND1, Houlahan is under fire for raking in massive salary increases as contributions and grants to her education nonprofit plummeted.

Via City & State PA:

Houlahan’s Linkedin profile indicates she began work as CFO of the nonprofit in September 2012, about a year after its founding. Nonprofit financial disclosure records show she earned $56,000 in her first salaried year. By 2016, the most recent filing available, Houlahan was earning more than $153,000 – an increase of about 172 percent in four years.

Compare those facts to the opening line on her website: “I cannot stand quietly aside and watch President Trump misrepresent our values, as he enriches himself, his relatives and wealthy friends, all the while diminishing opportunities for everyone else.”

As reported by City & State, revenues to the nonprofit declined by $278,000 in 2014 while Houlahan and other executives received a 30 percent raise. So much for putting the kids first.

“Once again, Greedy Chrissy Houlahan is being exposed for lining her pockets at the expense of others. First it was Chinese laborers in Dongguan, now it’s children.” – NRCC Spokesman Chris Martin
