Lamb backtracks on Pelosi
May 23, 2018
Remember Conor Lamb’s pledge to always vote in the interest of his district and not party leadership in Washington?
That’s not how things have played out.
Yesterday, Lamb voted with Nancy Pelosi to deny terminally ill patients and their families the right to participate in potentially life-saving experimental medications and treatments.
In fact, since taking office Lamb has voted lockstep with Pelosi 88 percent of the time.
“This was a shameful, heartless vote by Conor Lamb. The Right to Try Act will save lives, but Lamb would rather mend fences with Nancy Pelosi than do what’s right for Pennsylvania families.” – NRCC Spokesman Chris Martin
