Chris Matthews had a simple question for Danny O’Connor tonight: Will he vote for Nancy Pelosi for speaker?
Three attempts later, Matthews lost his patience…
Matthews: “You’re dodging this.”
O’Connor: “The old ways aren’t working”
Matthews: “You know for Democrats to get control…”
O’Connor: “I would support whoever the Democrat is.”
After months of playing coy, O’Connor finally confirmed he would support Pelosi for speaker if he made it to Congress. And when she’s spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to get him elected, I’m not surprised.
