Susie Lee’s new campaign slogan

Susie Lee’s 2018 platform apparently goes something like this: I can’t pay my own taxes, but if you elect me I’ll hike yours.

Over the weekend, a Las Vegas Review-Journal investigation found Lee has been chronically delinquent on paying taxes or utilities on her 21 properties in 5 states – including seven liens filed against her Vegas-area properties alone.

Ironically, Lee equated the House-passed middle class tax cuts – which led to bonuses for thousands of Nevadans and an estimated increase of $37,586 over 10 years in take-home pay for families – to “highway robbery.” And Nancy Pelosi, who has propped up Lee’s candidacy with thousands in direct donations, pledged to repeal the middle class tax cuts if Democrats take the majority.

The Review-Journal summed it up best: “It also reeks of hypocrisy for Lee to support big government spending – she once called for free universal health care – and then constantly be delinquent paying her own bills… Lee’s website says she is a ‘problem solver.’ Figuring out how to pay her property taxes and utility bills on time, however, is one problem she’s yet to figure out.”
