Aftab’s campaign status: imploding

The Cincinnati Enquirer just reported that Aftab Pureval’s campaign manager has resigned:

Yesterday we learned new information that led us to believe members of our staff may not have lived up to those standards. Because we did not want this issue to be a distraction in the final days, I’ve also accepted the resignation of my campaign manager.

Pureval did not elaborate on what the “new information” was, but it probably has something to do with his campaign being under investigation for breaking campaign finance laws and directing staff to infiltrate his opponent’s voter database.

Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday knowing Aftab Pureval is completely unfit to serve in Congress.
