Is Katie Hill going to protest herself?
Hey There —
Katie Hill did a round of TV interviews last night spewing Democratic talking points saying she’s “not here to play games” and that she’s open to compromise to re-open the government.
But, instead of working with Republicans to open the government, she’s working on a liberal day of action (coordinated by Move On and Indivisible) that is set for January 29th to protest “whoever doesn’t vote for re-opening the government.”
Yep, Katie scheduled a protest the same day the President was supposed to give his State of the Union address before Nancy cancelled it. But, according to Katie, cancelling the State of the Union and organizing a protest instead isn’t “playing games.”
Katie, also voted last night AGAINST paying the 800,000 federal workers she and her fellow House Democrats are holding hostage while they refuse to negotiate with the President.
So, shouldn’t Katie be protesting herself?
