Paging Nurse Lauren!

Lauren Underwood speaks often of her former profession as a caring nurse, yet she took issue with the President declaring his commitment to defeating Democrats’ efforts to legalize execution of newborns in last night’s State of the Union Address.

It’s hard to follow where Lauren stands on infanticide, but luckily for her she’ll soon have an opportunity to clear things up.

House Republicans have put forward a discharge petition to ask for a vote to require doctors to provide care for newborn infants who survive a late term abortion, so two quick questions for Lauren:

As a nurse, would Lauren Underwood have provided lifesaving care for newborn infants who survive late term abortion?

As a lawmaker, will she sign House Republicans’ discharge petition requiring medical professionals do just that?
