Simple question for Cheri Bustos
Last night’s State of the Union address brought to light the deep divisions among Democrats, which means more trouble for Cheri Bustos who is desperately struggling to keep her distance from the radical extremists in her party. Fortunately for her, she’ll soon have an opportunity to show she can be an independent leader.
House Republicans are using a discharge petition to ask for a vote to require doctors to provide care for newborn infants who survive a late term abortion. (This in response to radical Democrat efforts to legalize abortion up to the moment of birth, and in the case of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam after birth.)
Not surprisingly, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her radical caucus are blocking consideration of what should be an uncontroversial bill to not allow babies to die on a hospital table.
One simple question – will Cheri Bustos sign?
