where are the leaders?

February 7, 2019

On the campaign trail, Virginia Congresswomen Elaine Luria, Abigail Spanberger and Jennifer Wexton all ran on the promise that they would be real leaders in Washington.

But none of them have called on Virginia’s Lt. Gov Justin Fairfax or AG Mark Herring to resign in the wake of their sexual assault and blackface scandals.

Even the AP noted: Democrats mute calls for Va. resignations with power at risk

Looks like Luria, Spanberger and Wexton are just typical politicians protecting their political party, instead of doing the right thing.

NRCC Comment: “Congresswomen Elaine Luria, Abigail Spanberger and Jennifer Wexton sold their constituents the lie that they would be “leaders” in Washington. But now that they are inside the beltway, they’ve become typical politicians protecting their party even in the face of shocking racial and sexual assault scandals.”—NRCC Spokeswoman Camille Gallo
