House Democrats’ resident anti-Semite (well…one of them anyway) was back at it last week, dredging up disgusting anti-Semitic tropes and accusing Jewish members of Congress of having dual loyalty and “allegiance to a foreign country.”

For the second time in less than a month, senior Democrats, including Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel, Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa & International Terrorism Chairman Ted Deutch and Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Nita Lowey, condemned the hateful statements by Omar. And yet, Speaker Pelosi and her caucus STILL refuse to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she has an international platform to spew her bigotry.

Since Pelosi refuses to act against her magazine covermate, it’s beyond time for Abigail Spanberger and other House Foreign Affairs Democrats to step up and demand that Ilhan Omar be removed from the committee. Failure to stand up in the face of blatant anti-Semitism will show Virginians that Spanberger lacks the leadership to represent them in Congress.
