fool me once…

Facing pressure bipartisan pressure to deal with anti-Semite Ilhan Omar’s latest bigotry, House Democrats have decided to take the brave step of introducing another resolution condemning anti-Semitism.

But given Democrats already unanimously passed language condemning anti-Semitism, recently adopting a GOP measure addressing the subject following Omar’s previous anti-Semitic attacks, there’s little reason to believe their latest effort is anything but empty rhetoric.

If they are serious about combatting anti-Semitism, Nancy Pelosi and Democrats need to take substantive action and remove Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

For those keeping score at home here’s a rundown of Omar’s anti-Semitic comments:

  • Claimed “Israel has hypnotized the world.”
  • Claimed Jewish groups bought off politicians.
  • Claimed politicians supporting Israel have dual-loyalty.

NRCC Comment: “Ilhan Omar’s pattern of vile anti-Semitism has no place on the Foreign Affairs Committee. Enough is enough, and it’s time for Speaker Pelosi to take substantive action.” – NRCC Spokesman Michael McAdams
