NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer’s Response to Moronic DCCC Attack
WASHINGTON – National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Tom Emmer today released the following statement in response to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) politicizing the death of Sen. John McCain:
“Cheri Bustos should be embarrassed for allowing the organization she leads to send out such a moronic press release,” said NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer. “But now Bustos needs to take her own medicine and definitively state whether she will denounce those in her conference for their bigotry, anti-Semitism and divisive, historically ignorant rhetoric.”
Bustos is the Chairwoman of the DCCC. According to their website, she leads “the only political committee in the country whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way to fortify and expand our new Democratic Majority.”
