“Park Avenue” Perry prepares to be embarrassed (again)

April 5, 2019

Every scheming political consultant’s dream candidate is back, as “Park Avenue” Perry Gershon announced today he’s choosing to light more of his money on fire and lose again to Congressman Lee Zeldin.

Gershon’s embrace of the socialist Democrats’ $32 trillion boondoggle, Medicare for All, which would eliminate private and employer-sponsored health care plans, and his support for giving illegal immigrants driver licenses are just a few of the many reasons why Long Island voters have already rejected his radical candidacy.

NRCC Comment: “’Park Avenue’ Perry Gershon can spend all the money in the world but that won’t change the fact he’s a dyed-in-the-wool liberal set on saddling Long Islanders with the socialist policies of the left and he will lose again.” – NRCC Spokesman Michael McAdams

Background:

  • At a Feb. 11, 2018, Long Island Activists meeting, Perry Gershon was asked where he stood on HR 676, the House companion to Bernie Sanders’ Medicare For All bill. Gershon said, “I’m strongly in favor of universal health care; whatever form we get there it doesn’t matter, I’m strongly in favor of 676, I’d love to see it passed. I’d love to see the New York Health Care Act passed as a step forward to getting there.” Perry Gershon @ LIA 2/11 Monthly meeting YouTube, Feb. 11, 2018 (Time Stamp: 7:30)
