Axne opts to lose House race

Just days after being sworn in, socialist Democrat Cindy Axne was being courted by Washington liberals to run for the U.S. Senate, leaving her a big choice – get utterly destroyed by Senator Ernst in a statewide race or just be content to lose her reelection race.

According to a report from NBC 13 in Des Moines, Axne has chosen the latter. Axne will face an uphill race from the start as she attempts to compete in a presidential year in a district won by both President Trump in 2016 and Mitt Romney in 2012.
