Not even six months into office, and California’s Katie Porter is already using her position in Congress for personal gain.
Porter revealed in a congressional hearing last week that the only reason she had some unexpected personal medical bills paid is because the insurance company was told she is a member of Congress.
Hypocrisy at its finest for a vulnerable House member who preaches about the need for a level playing field.
