Failed nominee Slotkin keeps chiming in on Middle East “strategy”

June 20, 2019

After Iran shot down a US drone aircraft, failed assistant defense secretary for international security affairs nominee and “ISIS expert” Elissa Slotkin went on NPR to criticize the Trump administration for its lack of strategy.

Of course, some of Slotkin’s “strategies” in the Middle East include pulling troops out of Iraq (which military leaders say led to the rise of ISIS) and handing terrorists a $150 billion check.

Perhaps that’s why Senator McCain put the kibosh on Slotkin’s nomination after calling her “totally unqualified.”

Again… maybe Slotkin should sit this one out.
