Political games

June 24, 2019

Hey there –

As constituents protested outside Max Rose’s office this weekend over the Congressman’s failure to condemn fellow Democrat Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism, Rose made clear he had no time for their criticism.

His constituents demanded that Omar be removed from the foreign affairs committee for her shocking statements like saying “Israel has hypnotized the world” and accusing pro-Israel colleagues of taking bribes. But Rose dismissed their concerns as “political games.”

And Rose knows a thing or two about political games. Here he is playing the hokey pokey as he attempts to hide behind a staffer while being questioned about fellow NYC Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s insistence that the United States is using concentration camps at the border.

Nice try, Max, but the questions aren’t going away just because you’re out of the camera shot.
