Just when you think the rape apologists in the Virginia Democratic Party can’t go any lower they somehow find a way.

This time, State Senator Chap Petersen said the General Assembly shouldn’t investigate Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax’s multiple rape accusations, because “we need to be about representing the people of Virginia, not trying to figure out what happened in some bar in 2004.”

That’s right, a credible accusation of rape is just something that happened in some bar in Virginia Democrats’ eyes.

So what do Elaine Luria, Jennifer Wexton and Abigail Spanberger have to say about Petersen’s despicable rape comments? And will Wexton return his campaign donation? We aren’t holding our breath.
