Phillips defends AOC Holocaust trivialization

Dean Phillips continues to make excuses for the anti-Semites in his caucus.

Most recently Phillips defended Holocaust trivializer AOC after she likened detention centers on the southern border to concentration camps, saying he “respects her” and didn’t believe she intended to “conflate German concentration camps from the Holocaust with the border camp.”

Except… AOC said that’s exactly what she intended. Here is her direct quote:

“The US is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are.”

And she’s doubled down since.

Yet while Holocaust survivors and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum have condemned her comments, Phillips has shamefully stood by her side.
