Looks like DC native Gina Jones’ campaign cash
is only slightly more Texan than the candidate herself, with more than 77% of
Jones’ Q2 donations coming from outside Texas.
Jones’ lack of support from folks in the Lone Star State shouldn’t come as much
of a surprise. After all, Jones is a Washington, DC resident, owning a condo in the
city’s luxurious Southwest Waterfront neighborhood, and hadn’t lived in Texas
for more than a decade before deciding to run for office.
