Katie Hill breaks immigration promise

July 31, 2019

Not even a year into the job and Katie Hill is already trying to lower expectations.

Katie told the Santa Clarita Valley Signal today that, “we’re not going to fix the issue of immigration this Congress.”

According to Hill, immigration is one of those policy issues that is going to have to wait until she is reelected, because she and her colleagues can’t reach “total agreement.”

It’s unclear what Hill defines as “total agreement” since Hill even voted against the bipartisan Southern border humanitarian aid bill that Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer supported.

Looks like Hill broke her promise of getting beyond “partisan politics to make real progress on this issue.
