Ask Dean about PAYGO

September 4, 2019

Dean Phillips thinks voters in CD3 are dumb which is why he’s been posturing about how “disgusted” he is with the federal deficit.

He’s keeping up a good front, even signing onto flowery worded letter asking for stricter adherence to the “pay-as-you-go” rule (PAYGO), a measure that requires legislation be offset by spending cuts or revenue increases.

Meanwhile, Dean voted to waive PAYGO and add $30 billion to the deficit, right alongside socialists Ilhan Omar and AOC.

So Dean is pro-fiscal responsibility… except when he’s not.

Classic.

NRCC Comment: “Just like every other sleazy politician, Dean Phillips says one thing and does another. The reality is that, thanks to his inherited trust fund, multi-millionaire Dean doesn’t know a thing about fiscal responsibility.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Carly Atchison
