H.R. 1 or Protect Our Care?

Cindy Axne has been outspoken about banning dark money from politics, releasing a seven-point campaign finance reform proposal that is specifically aimed at eliminating pay-to-play politics.

But, right now, Axne is letting liberal dark money group Protect Our Care run $2 million worth of digital ads benefitting 10 vulnerable freshman Democrats, including herself.

Axne cosponsored and voted for both H.R. 1 and the DISCLOSE Act, which would require Protect Our Care to disclose their donors.

If Axne is so proud of these votes, why won’t she speak up and ask Protect Our Care to disclose their donors and put do her part to Iowa’s interests first?
