“I must act to protect our national security”

When Xochitl Torres Small announced that she would vote to impeach President Trump, she justified her actions by saying she was acting to “protect our national security.”

But now, Torres Small and her Democrat allies are refusing to allow the impeachment process to move forward by not sending their articles of impeachment to the Senate.

So does Torres Small still think this was an urgent national security matter? Or is she ready to admit her impeachment vote was all a partisan game?
