Katie Porter missed votes to campaign for Warren
Torunn Sinclair | January 9, 2020

The Orange County Register reported yesterday that first term Congresswoman Katie Porter missed five votes on Nov. 20 in order to campaign for Elizabeth Warren in Iowa.

Porter will be back in Iowa this weekend. She also campaigned in Iowa for Warren the first week of November when she was announced as a Warren campaign co-chair, and in December.

NRCC Comment: “Orange County voters will terminate Katie Porter’s employment in November 2020 for failing to show up to work and do her job.”  – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
