WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer today released the following statement regarding Nancy Pelosi’s decision to finally surrender and transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

“Nancy Pelosi’s bizarre decision to withhold the articles of impeachment has highlighted what a sham process this has been from the outset.

“Pelosi and her colleagues claimed impeachment was urgent but then waited around for a month before taking action.

“Impeachment has been a political stunt from Day One and it will cost Democrats their socialist majority.”
