Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on the Special Election in NY-27

NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer today released the following statement after Chris Jacobs won the Republican endorsement for the special election in New York’s 27th Congressional District:

“Congratulations to Chris Jacobs both for winning the Republican endorsement and for a full-blown socialist winning the Democrat endorsement. Just like he did in Albany, Chris will fight to combat the assault the socialist Democrats have leveled against Western New York. We will work tirelessly to ensure this seat remains Republican.”
