Tom O’Halleran votes to rip up Arizona constitution

February 7, 2020

Last night Tom O’Halleran sold out Arizona workers to his campaign donors, voting for the PRO Act, which would impose a one-size-fits-all federal rule striking down the right to work provision in Arizona’s constitution.

Ahead of the vote, AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka threatened to cut off donations to any legislator who opposed the bill, saying, “And to those who would oppose, delay or derail this legislation—do not ask the labor movement for a dollar or a door knock, We won’t be coming.”

Reminder: O’Halleran’s reelection campaign has received $536,000 from labor PACs.
