NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on the CA-25 Special Election

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the CA-25 special election:

“Christy Smith needs to do the right thing for the first time in this campaign and concede the race to fighter pilot Mike Garcia. Christy Smith cannot win, and the math shows this.”

According to California Target Book’s Rob Pyers, Smith would need to win 97% of outstanding ballots to win.
