Dems move to abandon 200 years of precedent

May 14, 2020

With their latest power grab, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are planning to abandon 200 years of precedent and allow remote proxy voting in the House of Representatives.

This partisan stunt would allow House Democrats the ability to unilaterally pass legislation with just 22 members present, destroy transparency, severely impact the ability of the minority and all but eliminate bipartisan cooperation.

NRCC Comment: “This is the latest example that the bipartisan message House Democrats ran on in 2018 was a blatant lie and voters will hold them accountable for it in 2020.” – NRCC Spokesman Michael McAdams
