Jared Golden doesn’t want Law & Order

Police budget cutter Jared Golden was happy to criticize President Trump’s efforts to restore Law and Order saying, “the president should be very careful about deploying federal military forces on American soil without the consent of the governed.”

But following days of violent criminals destroying US cities, looting businesses and attacking police, recent polling shows an overwhelming majority of voters support efforts to use the military to combat lawlessness.

Golden’s soft stance on crime makes sense provided that he voted to cut the state police department’s budget by more than $250,000 while serving in the state legislature.
