SUBJECT: GEORGIA PRIMARY RESULTS

Despite Democrats bloviating about their ability to win Georgia, this state will remain red in 2020. The Democrats’ embrace of socialism has destroyed their chances of keeping GA-06 and winning GA-07. Republican candidates will be able to build strong campaigns and be further bolstered by President Trump at the top of ticket. Democrats will be dragged down by a presidential candidate who has been yanked to the left by the party’s socialist base.

GA-06: Karen Handel (R) vs. Lucy McBath (D)

This race will be a rematch of one of the closest House races in the country where Lucy McBath only won by 1%.

Now that Lucy McBath has a legislative record in D.C., Georgians will quickly see she repeatedly lied to them and has always put her extreme party first. Despite claiming to be a moderate, McBath has voted with Nancy Pelosi’s socialist agenda over 96% of time and she will be left to defend her extreme record in this Republican district. Georgians can’t trust McBath to represent them in Congress and will vote her out in November.

Karen Handel has proven to be an effective leader for Georgia. Whether it’s combatting sex trafficking or the opioid epidemic, Handel has always fought for Georgians. Voters know Handel will stand strong against the extreme left, unlike McBath who always caves to her political bosses and special interests.

PVI: R+8

GA-07: Dr. Rich McCormick (R) vs. Winner of Dem primary runoff between Brenda Romero and Carolyn Bourdeaux

This is a terrible situation for Democrats whose candidates will now be dragged to the left as this primary fight continues. Brenda Romero and Carolyn Bourdeaux will be forced to battle for their socialist base in a district President Trump won. Whoever survives this nasty primary will be broke and on record in support of extreme socialist policies.

As a Marine and emergency room physician, Rich knows how to face tough challenges head on and will fight for Georgia values, not socialism. He will be further boosted by President Trump at the top of ticket.
