OK-05: Kendra Horn (D) vs. Winner of the GOP runoff election between Terry Neese and Stephanie Bice

Kendra Horn was the most unlikely winner for House Democrats last cycle, running an anonymous race in a little watched Trump +14 district and facing no scrutiny of her record. That will not be the case this fall.

The NRCC has already announced a large initial ad buy in OK-05, joining Congressional Leadership Fund, ensuring that Horn will be held accountable for her far-left record in Washington. Horn has repeatedly voted against the oil and gas industry, a major employer in the district, and stood with Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats on everything from impeaching President Trump to their scheme to direct millions to their own reelection campaigns.

Either Terry Neese or Stephanie Bice will be a far better fit for the district and will have the resources necessary to make Kendra Horn a one-term Congresswoman.

PVI: R+10

2016 Presidential Results: Trump 53.3% – Clinton 39.7%

Ratings: Cook Political Report – Toss Up; Inside Elections – Toss Up

Geography: The district includes most of Oklahoma County, including Oklahoma City, as well as Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. It is entirely within the Oklahoma City DMA.
