NRCC Statement on California Democrats’ Voter Suppression Efforts

CORONA, CA – NRCC Deputy Chair Ken Calvert (CA-42) released the following statement regarding California Democrats’ voter suppression efforts in California:

“Over the last week, Democrat elected officials and candidates have used their clout and office to intimidate voters and civic-minded Californians by demonizing Republican ballot collection actions they legalized. This is the textbook definition of abuse of power and voter suppression.”

“These ballot boxes are legal, Democrats legalized ballot harvesting and Republicans are playing by the rules Democrats made and legalized.”

“California Democrats made their bed and now they need to sleep in it.”
