NRCC MEMO: House Gains & 2020 Electoral Success

The NRCC released a new memo this morning detailing House Republicans’ gains and 2020 electoral success.

NEW … THE NRCC SPIKES THE FOOTBALL … The House GOP election arm has this new memo about its wins in 2020: “Just how dominant was House Republicans’ performance? Republicans won 28 of the 29 most competitive House races as projected by Nate Silver and FiveThirtyEight.” 

Other highlights:

• So far Republicans have flipped eight seats and counting. Every House Republican candidate who flipped a Democrat-held seat is a woman, a minority, and/or a veteran.

• The NRCC protected 97% of the 33 open Republican seats that were targeted.

• Zero House incumbents have lost.

• Once all the races are called, House Republicans are expected to break the record of 25 Republican women in the House.

• Speaker Nancy Pelosi is doomed.
