Conor Lamb’s silence on Biden fracking ban is deafening

January 22, 2021

Despite Conor Lamb’s insistence that Republicans were lying about Joe Biden’s campaign pledge to ban fracking, the new president just delivered on that very promise, placing a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on public lands.

These leases account for 25% of the United States’ crude oil output and a ban on new leases could cost 60,000 jobs and $800 million in public funding for services such as public schools and first responders.

For someone who often touted the importance of the energy industry in western Pennsylvania during his last campaign, Lamb’s silence on Biden’s fracking ban is deafening.

Why won’t Conor Lamb stand up for Pennsylvania jobs?
