Haley Stevens contradicts CDC scientists

Haley Stevens used to believe in science, she even introduced a bill to take politics out of science.  

But yesterday Stevens told National Journal that she doesn’t have a timeline for when she thinks schools should be reopened and agrees with teachers’ unions that all staff must be vaccinated before we can reopen schools.  

This directly contradicts the scientists at the CDC, who found that schools are safe to reopen and said teachers don’t need vaccines to open schools. 

But teachers’ unions are one of Haley Stevens’ biggest donors – they gave her over $20K in 2020 – so she is ignoring the science to pay them back.  

A lot of students will fail, or worse, but at least Stevens will make her union bosses happy and keep the campaign cash flowing!
