A New York judge ruled that Republican Claudia Tenney defeated U.S. Rep. Anthony Brindisi by 109 votes in New York’s 22nd Congressional District, and Anthony Brindisi did the right thing and accepted the will of the voters.
You know who’s NOT doing the right thing? Rita Hart.
Iowa election officials certified Mariannette Miller Meeks’ victory in Iowa’s Second Congressional District, but Hart is still asking Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats to overturn the results of the election she lost.
It’s time for Rita Hart to follow Anthony Brindisi’s lead, concede that she lost, and let Congresswoman Miller Meeks focus on serving the people of Iowa’s Second Congressional District.
