Democrats: Art = Infrastructure

America’s infrastructure needs fixing, but Democrats would rather spend money on artwork.

Democrats on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee voted yesterday against an amendment to a $547 billion transportation bill that would prohibit the use of federal transit funds to buy artwork. 

That means Democrats are fine with using taxpayer money to fund artwork for transit stations instead of using the money to fix America’s infrastructure.
