House Dems vote against protecting national security

September 1, 2021

Andy Kim, Joe Morelle, John Garamendi, and Chrissy Houlahan just voted against giving the U.S. military the funding it needs to protect national security.

They opposed increasing the Department of Defense’s budget to ensure it is funded three percent above inflation — the bare minimum needed to ensure the U.S. can adequately defend itself against adversaries like China and Russia.
