Taxes too high? Thank Rudy Salas.

California taxes are already among the highest in the country, but amid a pandemic, Rudy Salas voted to raise taxes and fees on Californians by billions of dollars.

And now, as the price of gas and groceries are soaring, the combined state and federal tax rate could reach almost 60% in California.
