WATCH: Rudy Salas boots attendee from campaign announcement

The San Joaquin Valley Sun is reporting that Rudy Salas’ campaign was booting the public from his congressional campaign announcement. 

Salas’s campaign said his announcement was a private event that was “invitation only” even though he’s running for public office and other press were present.

Staff: Do you have an invitation for here?

A: “No, I heard it was a public event.”

Staff: “No, it’s actually a private event. It’s invitation only. So I’m going to have to ask you kindly to leave.”
