Portland surpasses murder record from 1987

Portland has had 67 homicides this year, surpassing the city’s previous murder record set in 1987.

The Portland Police Bureau has been struggling to handle the city’s spike in violent crime, thanks to Democrats’ anti-police platform that led to staff shortages and major budget cuts.
